Izzy and me, along with our roommates, went to Acadia National Park for a road trip during the July 4th. It was a really long drive – toke us almost two days on the road. But, it was totally worth it! It is the second national park that I visited, and the very first national park Izzy and I visited together. Both of us went to Yellowstone National Park before, with a different group of people. Acadia is gorgeous in a different way than Yellowstone. Acadia is marked by woodland, rocky beaches and glacier-scoured granite peaks like Cadillac Mountain, the highest point on the United States’ East Coast. While Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful.
