The first month of 2017 has almost past. I will be turning 30 this year. I have had resolution lists when I was a kid. But I should take this more seriously and more scientifically. The purpose of the list is to explore the fun of life, to create something more that I can be proud of. And writing them down is a commitment to encourage me keep track of it.
This will be an ongoing New Year Resolution list. I’ll note down things I want to do in 2017. It is ongoing because it is never late to start doing things you want. It doesn’t have to be determined at the very beginning of every year. The project is inspired by my friend Zhenshuo Fang.
Here comes the list:
4 per month. Or 1 per week. I will use Letterboxd to keep track of the progress.
- Arrival
- La La Land. Pretty good, but with a sad ending.
- Mr. Donkey. An ironic story started from a lie.
- Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back. 2017. Directed by Tsui Hark. The storyline is very plain, the most attractive part is the visual effects and costume design.
- Duckweed
- Lights Out
- Logan. Feel sad and hard after seeing it. Sad and hard to see Logan grows old and get beaten down. The crowd clapped multiple times after the movie.
- Life. Scared when seeing the surprised ending.
- Get Out. One of the best movie I saw in this year so far. Political, funny and inspirational. Being yourself and respectful to each others.
